John Gruber is usually one of the best Apple reporters, but IMHO his capitalist US-centric view makes him write extremely poor takes when his favourite corporation falls under government regulation. Remember that Apple is cleverly making DMA a mess on purpose.

The Supreme Court of Canada recently ruled that you need a warrant to reverse-lookup someone’s IP address. Seems sensible to me, consistent with previous “reasonable expectation of privacy” of digital communications. Still, an important decision.
Something important happened in France, with abortion now being a constitutional right. Interesting to see Marine LePen’s hypocrisy given her past statements on abortion, and the pressures from the men in her own party.
