Having listened to a bunch of pop hits from the 2010s and 2020s, it seems to me like the main trend in popular music is “less composed, more produced”.


Hah! My kids are getting to that age when you need to switch from evening baths to morning showers. Also known as “the age of starting to stink really bad from your newly hairy parts”.


It’s nice to start the week with French news about Marine LePen (the far-right party leader) being ineligible for 5 years and on house arrest along with a few of her people… and meanwhile, Nicolas Sarkozy possibly getting something a bit worse soon. Yay!

It breaks my heart to see The Globe And Mail publish an opinion piece that is absolute garbage pro-DOGE bullshit, and what looks like Russian bots in the comments. What the fuck.


It makes me sad to miss the ChaosiumCon that coincides to Chaosium’s 50th anniversary, but I can’t travel to the US given this, err, whole situation <waves hands and makes faces>

But maybe I’ll get crazy and go the UK one?


I don’t understand why Mozilla didn’t setup a Patreon-like system years ago. They have a donation system but it’s not setup along with, say, premium features, or even advertised in-software. By my count they could have made at least $5m monthly.


Given their history and founding values, it’s absolutely baffling to me that Image Comics doesn’t have their own digital comics store the way that, say Dark Horse does.


Half of the great TTRPG dice fudging debate would probably disappear if people realized that one side is assuming open rolls, and the other side is assuming secret GM rolls
