Ramblings of General Geekery

Last night in #RuneQuest, the party’s trickster was ceremoniously kicked out of the city state for attempted murder of a local noble… who is probably an ogre. Now this provides plausible deniability for that same trickster to murder the local Lunar priest with help from that same ogre. LOGIC!

Logic is irrelevant!

From now on, when I meet good-looking women in flattering Lululemon pants and they look at my dog, then at me, and say “soooo cute!”, I’ll take it as a comment about me. Surely once in a while it’s gotta be true, right?

A very cute fluffy good boy golden retriever on a park trail.

KamCon only starts later this afternoon so surely I can keep tweaking my Delta Green scenario a bit more, right?

My final KamCon schedule isn’t too packed, which is good. I’m running DG and RQ, as is tradition, and playing a couple others. Somehow I’m also speaking at a panel, because they couldn’t find anybody more qualified than me to fill the last seat! Yay! 😅

I thought people piling onto the new “War Of The Worlds” movie was maybe be overblown, but after watching the Honest Trailer and Pitch Meeting videos for it, maybe it IS one of the worst movies ever? Which sort of makes me want to watch it?

In last night’s RuneQuest #TTRPG game, our heroes temporarily allied with the Ogre Conspiracy embedded in their tribe in order to take down the local Lunar priest. The plan is to use the Trickster Shaman Assassin in the party plus some Chaos magic. All good, right?

Network of Time: connecting two people through historical photographs… this is amazing. For instance, you can connect Lovecraft to Taylor Swift in 7 photos! It would be 6 if it had a photo of HPL with Derleth in its archive!

I still need to decide what Delta Green scenario I’m running at KamCon! I usually do either “Sentinels of Twilight” or one of my own — lately it’s “Intramuros” but it needs more tweaking. I guess I should do the tweaking and test it again? That’s what cons are for right? 😅
