A couple months ago I finished watching (for the first time!) the original Star Trek series. It was great! A mix of charming, profound, cheesy, and cool. Plus, a weird mix of progressive/woke and outdated/cringe stuff. Overall, I love that “old sci-fi” feeling! Next: the Motion Picture!
We are very sad that Manzano, one of the few good local bakeries, has now closed 😞 (not 100% sure but apparently from the owners retiring, not from financial trouble)

We missed it but a couple months ago was the 10th anniversary of #UE5’s Sequencer tool! Next June will be the anniversary of when it came out of the alpha preview you had to explicitly enable. Maybe we’ll do a little celebration for the occasion?

By the way, in last night’s RuneQuest game, one PC killed Harvar Ironfist in a Heroquest while another PC acting as Yelmalio was judging him for his crimes. Next: civil war in the Far Place! Woohoo!

It’s very funny that my wife, who is not in “tech online circles”, has somehow held off on getting iOS Liquid Glass update until yesterday… and immediately complained about it for 10 minutes before asking “is anybody else happy with this? Am I the only one complaining?!”
