The Story of Another World on Amiga: this is another one of my absolute favourite games ever. Such a great experience! Maybe I should play it again… anyway, here’s some overview of the tech behind it, by MVG.

I find this interesting: a recent study finds that in addition to things like lack of tolls and bad urban planning, the rise of the SUV (and the general “car bloat” of the automotive industry) plays a significant role in the worsening of traffic congestion in the US.

With a lot of Canadians trying to avoid US products, and grocery stores slapping maple leaf labels everywhere to ride that wave, of course there was bound to be some abuse or, at least, gray area around what these labels mean. Here’s a nice little look into the matter by the CBC.

We enjoyed the sunny days while they lasted! Now back to some nice refreshing rain.

The Greatest Video Game Tech Demo Ever: I remember everybody gushing about Shadow of the Beast back in the day, and yeah it was impressive… but also a very bad game 😅 Here’s a good overview from MVG.

I finally finished watching this great overview of all the games in the main Ultima series, which contains some of my favourite games ever (I often half-joke that game development peaked with Ultima VII and it’s all been downhill ever since). Good job here by Finntrovert!
