UE5 Gameplay Cameras: The Basic Design

This is the seventh post in my developer diary for the Unreal Engine camera system. Since the last post was a super high level view of what the system is supposed to be, I figured I would just go down one step for this article and share some notes about the general design. This might be particularly useful since the official Unreal Engine documentation doesn’t usually cover “experimental” plugins, and we’re probably one release away from upgrading GPC to “beta”.

Having listened to a bunch of pop hits from the 2010s and 2020s, it seems to me like the main trend in popular music is “less composed, more produced”.

Hah! My kids are getting to that age when you need to switch from evening baths to morning showers. Also known as “the age of starting to stink really bad from your newly hairy parts”.

I like Jagmeet Singh but he had to step down. Still, he accomplished more than you’d think, and the NDP’s collapse is more due to (much needed) strategic voting than to his tenure. That’s why we need electoral reform in Canada… you know, the thing Trudeau originally promised?
