Quick Look: Rosewood Abbey
I got my copy of Rosewood Abbey a couple weeks ago! This is a TTRPG based on Brindlewood Bay, in which you play Medieval European monks and other religious-adjacent figures investigating mysteries. Obviously, it’s heavily inspired, among other things, by The Name Of The Rose and Cadfael (both their literary and cinematic versions)
This is an interesting way to measure environmental impact: “Earth Overshoot Day marks the date when humanity’s demand for ecological resources and services in a given year exceeds what Earth can regenerate in that year.” The graph from the 70s to now is especially interesting.

I see a lot of YouTube ads for Uber teen accounts, and it makes me so mad. One could write an entire book about everything wrong with society that led to Uber making teen accounts.

“The Effect of CRTs on Pixel Art”: this is a great article explaining what pixel art is ACTUALLY supposed to look like, and why it’s done the way it is. Plus, it explained a problem I found when replaying Monkey Island on a modern PC!
