My current art process is to make a sketch, be decently happy with it, start painting it, find it ugly as fuck, try to paint it again, find it even uglier, then rage quit and just ink it in black and white. I just don’t understand colour.

It’s decided, this year for my Christmas/birthday gift to myself, I’m getting custom frames to put all my Ultima cloth maps on a wall! For now it will include Ultima III through IX, plus Shroud of the Avatar. I’m hoping to eventually also get Ultima Online’s map.

The Ultima VI cloth map, and the boxes of the "middle" trilogy that cemented the video games series spot as an absolute classic of the CRPG genre

In yesterday’s RuneQuest game, the Yelmalion PC marched with a warband to meet Harvar Ironfist in a heroquest. An identification contest was issued and with cunning nerdy bullshit the players tore down Harvar’s god-forming. The PC is now Yelmalio, Harvar is the False Sun, and killing is starting!
