The last week has been about packing everything on the ground floor away into storage to make way for a renovation… behold, half of my TTRPG, comics, and board games collection, shamefully hidden in boxes! 😓

The teenager and I finished Split Fiction yesterday (on PS5) and it was such a great run! I was legit laughing-out-loud in some of the side-plots. Highly recommended, with a good friend or family member sitting on the couch next to you. Thanks and congrats to Hazelight & the whole dev team.

The fluffy good boy got a piece of wood stuck in its mouth again… the removal operation was a success but he needs to keep his emotional support ball for a bit longer. Recovery is important!

Since we came out of the cinema I’ve been singing “FANTASTIC FOUUUUU-UUUUR!!!” over and over at random intervals and I think my kids are now fed up with it so yeah it was a fun outing.

The funny thing to me about the new South Park is that the series always made fun of everyone, but its audience skews conservative because right-wing assholes are so oblivious to it, only seeing the jokes about woke people or whatever. To me, the new episode just seems par for the course.

A week ago I setup AdGuard-Home on my home server. After a few days trying it via my laptop, I enabled it by default for all devices connected to our Wi-Fi… let’s see if the rest of the family notices!

You know that action scene cliché where the hero is chased by a large creature and he escapes by passing between two large trees and the creature gets stuck? Anyway my dog was running behind me with a large stick and I needed to feel like an action hero. Totally worked!
