OK, this is the day, I’m finally watching The Beastmaster! And…. holy shit, WTF, I have SO MANY EMOTIONS. And NOT ALL OF THEM POSITIVE.

Then again, it makes sense given this was made by the “Phantasm” guy.

Yet again some nice mornings from last week, still with the same good boy.

One of the things I miss from France is the ubiquity of the various ice-cream desserts, especially my favourite, the Peach Melba. So I’ve come up with a quick-and-dirty way to make them myself, with home-made raspberry coulis and whipped cream!

The city in the clouds is always in the distance, never reached. But there’s a good boy here.

“Haunted Hotel” started as a sort-of-vaguely-entertaining animated series, but I grew to like it more as the writers found their stride a few episodes in. By the time you get to that great season finale, it’s funny and spooky and strangely touching. Abaddon of course steals the show.

Influencer and its sequel Influencers was a quite entertaining one-two-punch of social media satire and crazy murders in gorgeous locations. CW is a fun character and Cassandra Naud plays her wonderfully. I didn’t expect much and now I want to see more identity theft and stabbings!

The Star Trek Motion Picture’s problem is not that it’s a 2-hours-long episode, but that it’s one episode stretched over 2 hours! Between yawns, there’s still a good episode in there. Somehow I managed to have never heard of the final act’s twist! Nice.
