Where did the mountains go? (yes, we’ve been having very very bad air quality here for the last few days)

We are finally back from France… where apparently there’s always someone in our family that’s slightly racist or transphobic or something. On the upside, I’m back to picking up poop several times a day! The fluffy good boy is happy to get his routine back.

We are spending the week in a renovated clergy house, but they kept the old door with, like, 3 different metallic thingies to unlock it. I feel like I’m opening up a medieval castle to let the peasants out.

Holidays back in France means my parents dump another box of old books for me to take home. This time some classic Ennis, Ellis, and Miller stuff, plus some manga (some of which may have aged very poorly, I’ll have to read it again)

Issues of "Hitman" and "Preacher", including the "Saint of Killers" spin-off.
TPBs of "Transmetropolitan" and "Stormwatch".
The classics "The Dark Knight Returns" and "Sin City".
A few manga: "F.Compo", "Macross 7", "Evangelion", and "Dragon Head".

Currently learning how the Lunar Empire brought civilization to yet another tribe of hillbilly Orlanthi clans! Public baths, latrines, heated floors, and more! #Glorantha

More old Briton stuff! Here is a tumulus with a dolmen entrance leading to a dark chamber that is most likely haunted by a 6000-year-old tribal king. He says hi.

Setting up for another gig, this time in a Gastown bar where they have a bunch of movie screenplays on shelves, including the one for Kull The Conqueror!

If you had told me that Geraldine Viswanathan and Hannah John-Kamen were in that Thunderbolts movie, I would have watched it a lot sooner!
