12th century emakimono librarian: “Be kind, rewind!”

A replica of the so-called "Genji Scroll" (Genji Monogatari Emaki), a 12th-century Japanese handscroll, which you read by "revealing" bits of the story at a time, as you unroll the scroll on one side and roll it up on the other side. You have to roll it back up at the end, effectively rewinding it, for the next reader.
