The Canadian Chronicles have been unleashed!

As promised last time I teased it, the first volume of the Canadian Chronicles is now available on DriveThruRPG. These are three scenarios for Call of Cthulhu, made and set in Canada, written by Francis Acquarone, Patrick Chandler, and myself. More details below!

The scenarios are:

• Runners of the Woods: set during the 1628 blockade of the Saint-Lawrence river by the British, you play explorers who need to covertly paddle past enemy ships to meet France’s Wendat allies and ask for assistance… but the further west you go, the stranger things get.
• The King’s Daughters: you play as the “marrying girls” sent in 1665 with a dowry provided by King Louis XIV to settle in New France. Crossing the Atlantic is a harrowing experience, finding a good husband is tricky, and farm life in the New World is difficult… but it gets worse when the threat of ancient spirits of the land comes home.
• Horror in the Nunnery: stuck in your temporary home by a fierce winter storm in 1734, you play as a group of Sisters from the Saint-Joseph Hospital who wake up to find that one of their own is missing. But your search will only uncover horrible secrets that will test your resolve and faith.

All three scenarios are available in a discounted bundle, which you probably want to get!

By the way, yes: the “Volume 1” in the title does indeed indicate that, if this one sells well, we will make more, set in different periods and places of Canadian history. We also welcome other Canadian writers getting in touch with us to participate, especially those of different cultural backgrounds than us, such as Indigenous or East-Asian.
